Leicester training session
On a very blustery day in Leicester, last season’s UK Lions boys combined with the newly selected Lions boys for a pre-Belfast tour, pre-Futures Cup, pre-Season training session.
The day saw the handover between the two playing groups in how to have fun, how to be responsible for individual and team performance both on and off the pitch, and how to continue making life long friends.
Several Lions now playing hockey for their national age group, or playing their hockey in Holland whilst attending University, helped coach the session providing great leadership and role models for the latest group of talented juniors to become a Lion!
Thanks to all the parents, coaches, and team management who made the day a terrific success.
The girls handover session will be on 31 August/ 1 September In Exeter.
