Repton Cup 2018
UK Lions boys and girls teams participated in the inaugural Repton International Invitation Cup 2018, held at Repton School, 23-27 July.
It was a fantastic opportunity to play against different teams from the USA, Germany, Spain and the UK.
For the girls especially it was a superb experience to play against WC Eagles a truly outstanding girls team from Philadelphia, USA, many of whom will no doubt go on to represent their country at full international level.
The hockey was of the highest standard with all the various games passionately and intensely contested – simply a wonderful experience in playing against and spending time with junior teams from many different countries.
Patrick Rose was awarded the boys player of the tournament for a truly superb performance both on and off the pitch. UK Lions wish to thank Martin Jones and Repton School for hosting such a fabulous tournament.
