Successful UK Lions Hockey Tour to Rotterdam
UK Lions Boys & Girls Hockey Teams went to Rotterdam over the Easter weekend (2018) to play in an U14 tournament hosted by Leonidas Hockey Club and to watch and be inspired by the EHL.
The boys played in an 8 team event with a Lions team entered into each of the two pools of 4.
The girls entered a single team in a 12 team tournament.
Teams participated from across Europe, including Dutch regional based teams.
The hockey was of a very high standard and players and parents alike had a fantastic time.
Overall the UK Lions Boys team won the tournament, and the UK Lions Girls narrowly missed out on a medal by finishing fourth.
Great fun, great experience.
