Resounding success
The inaugural U13 Girls Regional Hockey Championships, held in Manchester over the weekend of July 7th, 8th and 9th were a resounding success. Expertly administered by The Leeds Club, the eight regional teams put on a tremendous display of top quality hockey. A great weekend was had by all in attendance at the Armitage Centre and the Championships are now set to become an annual event. The North East ran out worthy winners and we were delighted to have Jane Sixsmith, ex GB & England and a four-time Olympian, present the prizes alongside Huw Nurse from Just Sardinia Holidays who generously sponsored the Championships.
