European promotion
Congratulations to Ioan Wall and Jacob Draper who have just returned from Glasgow where they were playing for Wales in the Mens EuroHockey Championship II. A great performance over the week saw Wales firstly top their group then beat France, placed 16 places higher in the world rankings in the semi final before narrowly losing to Scotland in the Final after dominating much of the game. Promotion to the top division of European Hockey for 2019 was a well deserved reward for all their hard work and Belgium in 2019 is already looking to be to be another great competition for the UK Lions with Scotland also getting promoted and England hoping to retain their place when they play later this month.
